Thank you for booking your Psychological Suitability Assessment for Cosmetic Surgery.
What happens next?
Check your email for a confirmation message containing a patient information sheet and some additional information on how to get in touch if needed.
Over the next one to two working days, you will also receive emails from Cambridge Therapy Centre containing:
- A consent form for you to sign
- Your pre-assessment questionnaires
Please complete and return the forms and questionnaires as soon as possible, as they form an important part of the assessment process.
Once you have done so, we can book your assessment appointment.
Your appointment
Your assessment appointment will last up to 60 minutes and can be conducted:
- Face to face in Cambridge
- Online via secure video consultation, if appropriate
During the assessment we will explore the reasons for your proposed surgery, your expectations, relevant background information and any psychological factors that may be important to consider.
After the assessment
A structured written report will normally be prepared and sent to your referring surgeon or clinic within five working days of your assessment appointment.

- Details of how to book your assessment appointment (if this has not already been arranged).
