What happens next?
Over the next one to two working days, you will receive an email from Cambridge Therapy Centre containing:
- Your pre-assessment questionnaires.
- A client information sheet.
- Any consent documentation that needs to be completed.
- Details of how to book your assessment appointment (if this has not already been arranged).
Please complete and return the questionnaires as soon as possible, as these form an important part of the assessment process.
Your assessment
Your assessment will last up to 60 minutes and can be conducted:
- Online via secure video consultation.
- By telephone.
- Face to face, where appropriate.
During the assessment we will explore the reasons for your proposed surgery, your expectations, relevant background information and any psychological factors that may be important to consider.
After the assessment
A structured written report will normally be prepared and sent to your referring surgeon or clinic within five working days of your assessment.
If an urgent report has been requested, the agreed expedited turnaround will apply.
